Johannes Gruenwald obtained his Ph.D. in physics in 2012 from the University of Innsbruck. A few years back he re-discovered his passion for writing. Thus, he started to make writing a part of his job. He specializes in SEO-optimized scientific and technological texts with a strong focus on physics. His fields of expertise are laser and plasma physics (but he is comfortable with writing about most branches of the natural sciences).
Johannes got his master’s degree from the University of Graz, where he constructed a femtosecond laser system for optical plasma diagnostics. After that, he pursued his Ph.D. at the University of Innsbruck, where he was, amongst other things, responsible for constructing a so-called laser-heated plasma probe.
After finishing his Ph.D., Johannes worked in different fields of science and industry. Most notably, he joined the ELI (extreme light infrastructure) in Prague in 2015, where he worked on laser-plasma interactions. Besides his writing activities, Johannes is still working in science as well. Interested readers can check out his google scholar, LinkedIn and Researchgate profiles:
